We're Christina and Jonas, two Canadians who have the travel bug and want to see more of our beautiful world. Like so many, we were longing for more than your average, yearly one or two week vacation. After years of dreaming and months of serious deliberation, we finally decided to take breaks from our professional careers and hit the open road. And let's face it, we're not getting any younger! We packed it all in and have embarked on what's currently a plan of backpacking for six months through Central and South America.  

Our travels started late January 2016 in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica to celebrate the wedding of two dear friends. We've since travelled (launching this blog in early March) along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the Western regions of Nicaragua, then back through Costa Rica to Panama, where we are currently. We will be travelling through to July 2016 (or so is the plan thus far!), our complete itinerary taking us through Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, which we recently added to the list as tourist Visa requirements have been lifted due to the summer 2016 Olympics.

Sometimes you just need a simple answer from someone who's been there. I'm happy to share what we've learned about the places we've visited.
